Full Steam Ahead!!

Since Beef Week, we have sent approximately 230 head of fat cattle to our local meatworks, bailed 300 round bales off our improved buffel pastures for our 750 head of number 1 weaners. Halfway through our weaner muster, we received 100mls of rain. Every year without fail when we have weaners in the yards, it will rain, but I'm not complaining, it has maintained our moisture level in our soils which should see us through our dry season. On the weekend just gone, we were visited by one of my fellow Nuffield Scholars, Bryan Granshaw and his son Riley from North Queensland. We had a great time, fishing, crabbing, pig hunting and talking about all the fun memories we had on our Nuffield Global Focus. I'm in the process of planning my last six weeks of my Nuffield trip where I'm looking to leave at the end of July.
